IAN DONALDSON MITCHELLIAN DONALDSON MITCHELL

Ian Donaldson Mitchell QC was born in St. Kitts, and qualified in 1971 to practice there and in England. Don has been resident in Anguilla since 1976, when he was appointed as Magistrate/Registrar which post he filled until 1980. He was admitted to the Anguilla Bar in 1981 and since then has been at the forefront of Anguilla's development as a financial centre. He was the President of the Anguilla Financial Services Association until recently.

In 1999 he was appointed a Judge of the Supreme Court of the Eastern Caribbean, following which his firm - Mitchell's Chambers, well known as a law firm with an international practice and for its formation of corporations in Anguilla, has amalgamated with the firm of Webster & Dyrud to form Webster Dyrud Mitchell, the largest law firm in Anguilla.

Webster Dyrud Mitchell has continued Mitchell's Chambers' membership of MacIntyre Strater International.
